With transition to the new administration, CKSO’s office will move to a new location (CKSO’s Rehearsal Studio) as of April 10, 2020.

Kyoto Symphony Orchestra(KSO) proudly presents the schedule for its 2020-2021 season(April 2020 – March 2021) and Conductors & Concertmasters from April 2020 !
KSO is thrilled to announce that Junichi Hirokami (current 12th Chief Conductor & Music Advisor) has been named as 13th Chief Conductor & Artistic Advisor, and world-renowned American conductor John Axelrod has been named as new Principal Guest Conductor, starting from April 2020.
KSO has also announced appointments of Yasushi Toyoshima as its Special Honorary Friendship Concertmaster and Yasunao Ishida & Ribon Aida as its Special Guest Concertmasters, who will take up position at the start of the orchestra’s 2020 concert season.
KSO wishes to make the positive development under its conductors & concertmasters and please stay tuned for KSO's 2020-21 season !
